Lawrence started out writing 10 years ago for a small paper called the Fisher post. He had written sports articles, mostly on hockey of all ages and has written a small number of short stories and a few poems. Lawrence loves writing.
Reviews: “A wonderful journey of one young man’s dream as he embarks on a journey to find himself.” This would be the best way to describe this action packed fun novel. In the spirit of one of the greatest sports in the world, Lawrence Bear weaves a wonderful tale that takes you on a journey for love. Love of hockey, love of life, love of a girl, even love of oneself. When he sent it to me to read I was not sure if I was going to be able to connect. I am a romance writer. This novel pulled me in leaving me in the end a fan rooting for this young man and his triumphs as well as losses. I think this is a book any teenager, woman or man would be able to read and identify with in some way. You definitely want to check this book out. It is in my opinion going to be a book to read over and over again. It is very inspiring. Stacey Watts Destiny's Journey Holly Farlee The Elf Princess: Into the Cursed Realm

Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Ashley lost her battle to this devastating disease at the tender age of twenty. Writing has been a Godsend and has helped Linda express feelings of loss and grief, of living, loving, and laughing again. Her hope is that through poetry and prose the reader will get a glimpse of Ashley’s tender heart, receive some comfort and maybe even a smile on their journey through life. While reading, discover Ashley’s passion to help others, the pain and struggles she endured, the mental stress of living with a terminal disease, and how it affected her life and the lives of family and friends. If this book helps...

In her book, she guides us down the wondrous and courageous path of a tender hearted yet brave young woman she loving calls 'MyAshley.' Ashley struggled with Cystic Fibrosis, and although her fight eventually ended with her passing, it is on this journey that we learn about the legacy of this young lady and what she meant and still means today to all who knew her and loved her dearly. We are given the chance to journey through sacred memories, treasured dedications to love, shadows of darkness and grief, and the ever so important will to understand and to overcome trials in life. Linda Sallee gives us a poetic journey of simple, yet heart warming words. It is as if you are sitting by a cozy fire sharing memories and emotions with those you cherish the most. When reading the poem, "Ashley Sings," the reader is given hope and peace, and this is something that is felt throughout the book. It is a sweet and special poetic story for all to read and is especially comforting to those who have lost loved ones. Rating: 5 stars***** T.S. Wilkins
Linda Sallee’s poetry speaks directly to the heart and soul. So often one hears that one has to be “in the mood” for poetry – not so with Linda Sallee’s work: she creates the mood from the very first verse. Josh Stafford Author of "Where Vultures Roost" and "Dragon in the Sky".

The Glowing Stone Written By: Edward L.J. Hall
The Glowing Stone is told by an old man remembering the days of youth, and how one night he and a glowing blue stone came together, and his life was changed forever. He also tells us of how he meets Gwen, who would one day become his wife. The Glowing Stone is a combination of the real world, where children are limited, and a dream world, where they are unleashed to live any adventure they want by simply reading or looking at a book. The time setting for The Glowing Stone is somewhere during the Depression era. The Glowing Stone's main action occurs in a make-believe Camelot with knights, damsels, and dragons. Gwen, Edward, and two of their friends become a team and face whatever comes their way. But with good dreams also come nightmares, via the dark stones. (Though in the telling, the violence is kept to a minimum and no dragon is actually harmed.)
